Magazine scans for Komga
Scanned magazines usually arrive as a folder of JPGs per issue, named by whoever scanned them. Komga and Kavita want series and issues, as CBZ or PDF. Studiolo treats each folder as one issue and places it in the series where it belongs.

An issue is an item
A folder of scanned pages is grouped into one issue, so it is placed, counted and copied as a unit.
CBZ as a derived file
Turning a folder of JPGs into a CBZ is a transform, planned for later. The CBZ is a new file with a link back to the original scans, which are never changed.
Names that work everywhere
Magazine titles carry colons, question marks and the like. The layout produces names that are safe on Windows, macOS and SD cards instead of leaving that to each app.
Annotations are yours
Synced to a tablet, an issue you annotated is a modified file: the next sync skips it and reports it, never overwrites it.
