One catalog over scattered disks. A library for every app.

ROMs, scans, documentaries and photos end up spread across old hard disks, a NAS and download folders. Every app that serves them wants one directory, in one exact layout. Studiolo indexes the originals in place, never writes to them, and builds each app the library it expects.

Files are identified by content hash and indexed where they are. If Studiolo disappears, every disk is exactly as it was.

Views by rules

Ordered, declarative rules decide what goes into each view. Rule changes produce a diff you approve before anything moves.

Paths that stay put

Apps key history and metadata by path, so a path ledger keeps every assigned path stable until you migrate it on purpose.

A studiolo was the Renaissance collector's room, where objects gathered from many places were arranged for study.
